My greatest hope for the 49er game is that nobody gets hurt.
We still have a couple of dirty cheap-shot players on their defense to contend with, and the very real chance that one of our key players could get injured going into the playoffs.
My storybook preference for the game would be that we beat them, straight-up. Mano a mano. And that their guys spend some extra time on the trainer's table and in the whirlpool, because they got outplayed and out-physicaled by a team whose ferocity and resolve they didn't see coming.
