Does LA really have TWO NFL teams?
I said years ago when Spanos moved the Chargers to LA that he was out of his mind. The Chargers had a great following in San Diego but were NEVER going to usurp the Rams as LA's team.
Then, the owner foolishly became but an Oliver Twist-like tenant in the Rams House.
Then, he hired a rookie HC who had one good year of being a DC to run his team that had all the makings of a very good NFL team....but that all went POOF. The Rams have one of the most famous NFL coaches in recent years....a Superbowl winner and media personality to boot.
The Rams have a bottomless pit of money for an owner who really knows how to run a sports team. The Chargers' owner is a wannabe with relatively limited resources compared to Kroenke.
The Chargers are to the Rams what the Angels are to the Dodgers. Ghost teams.
