He was from Baltimore. Baltimore fans travel VERY well. At the game last night, I'd say it was at least 35-40% Ravens fans. HE said that Electronic tickets have made it easier than ever to catch road games. We chatted for about 2-3 minutes about it. NFL Tickets has become a HUUUUGE $$$$$ business. He said he has seen the Ravens at 7-8 NFL venues and it's a cake walk to get tickets in the modern era.
It USED to get under my skin when I'd see so many OTHER fans in LA or even St Louis is the latter years. But it's BIG TIME obvious....Outside of a very few venues (KC, Green Bay), it's a Ticketmaster Free For All and does NOT have a damned thing to do with local fan loyalty.
