Player Development has been a real strength under McVay but with all the vets and chasing the big prize I think it became less of a focus. This year McVay had to get back to basics and retooled his staff and the results so far are great.
Rookies and 2nd year players are making great contributions on this team and we are in the playoff hunt. If we had a better kicker we would have 2 more wins.
If we can finish strong and make the playoffs it would be a great launching pad for 2024 when we have all our high draft picks and a bunch of cap space.
Also great job on player acquisition Dotson, Witherspoon, Johnson, Robinson etc. plus a unbelievable draft class. Lots of kudos all around
