Why winning is not hurting our rebuild

Remodel, rebuild, reset, whatever, we all know this was a building year. So with having a first round pick (remember those) again finally, I think the mixed feelings of loving a win but hating moving down the draft board are co-existing.

However, there is another side to this reset, and this cap space. We will have a ton of money next year and will most likely make some big moves in free agency.

We are becoming the perfect team for free agency. Those impact players that want to win can see what we are doing and feel they can be the piece that brings us to the next level. A good player that wants to win won't be excited about a team that is losing so much and gets top pick. So with every pick spot we drop we become that much more appealing for free agent signings.

Of course the development of the players and culture is also helped by winning.
