Didn't know who the play by play guy was until they mentioned Robert Smith's name during the game - and wasn't 100% positive it was him until they showed him near half time, because I'd never heard him speak before and his voice definitely wasn't what I would've expected from him (sounded more like a rough and tumble guard than a fleet-footed, graceful tailback).
This was the first I'd heard of him being an analyst. I recalled that he had gone to medical school and was planning on becoming a doctor. Is NFL broadcasting is more lucrative than being a doctor? Or perhaps just more enjoyable?
