Gurley was a straight-line guy... perfect for that inside-outside zone McVay used to run over and over and over. If there was a hole Gurley was gone... he wasn't a creator though
KW to your point doesn't have that kind of speed or explosion (Z Evans does tho... stay tuned on him)
What KW does have in common with Gurley is he can be very physical and is difficult to arm tackle. Gurley used to break people's bones. What KW does better than Gurley? Moves in the holes.. that 56-yard run, what he did in that whole was crazy. He also has better vision than Gurley for sure.
KW personality also is much better than Gurley's which makes him a lot easier to listen to and just like him! lol
I remember those Gurley press conferences and used to cringe... no cringing with KW!!
