To assume that the "Elite" players are the ones picked in the top 10 of the 1st round.....It's a totally false premise. It gives the notion that anyone else is not of a possible "Elite" position. Look across the league and see what spot many of the "Elite" considered players were drafted.......
And also let it slip regardless, wins are MUCH MORE important to a young team in the long run than teams picking in the top 5 for a number of years....At least that is what I have been preaching for some time now, and stand by it.
