I don't think we'll draft a QB (even if we should). I think Staff will play thru 2024 when he'll step away for his family. I think his wife's tongue slip last year is an indication of her desires.
I think we'll fill that position with a vet QB either thru trade or FA.
Why?
1. Because it worked trading for Stafford and Snead seems to operate on the assumption lightning strikes twice.
2. Because we have proven we're a poor judge of rookie QB's and when supplied with a young QB in Goff, McVay admitted he mishandled him.
3. With so many young QB's about to enter the league someone worthy will shake loose from the carousel.
We've taken OL with our first pick the last two drafts. I don't think we're done rebuilding the line.
