going in I didn't know.... lot of changes... could have gone well, (I never considered the playoff likely), or very badly. Then the season started...
And I'm convinced, even now, they got off to a good start... not lucky but good, not great, football. I think most here now think the 'bad' was there all along and is now showing up. I'm not of that opinion... but yes, it could be true.
I'm of the opinion that starting this season they were young and doing very well... and would improve as the season wore on. Then Dallas... and today GB. It's easy to list things individually that went bad... it's in your face.... but why the sudden and drastic drop off..... yes, "They were always bad" is an explanation... I'm not buying it. Something has gone awry... something unexpected and devastating.... it begins with the loss of Stafford...and I'd agree that's the predominant reason. But there is more to this than just that. - JamesJM
