I noted just a bit ago that we are taking things for granted. Lightning rarely strikes a moving target twice and they either plan to try and buy another ring on lay away or they think they can tease us with just enough wins to fall into the top 3rd of the draft and somehow find a trade partner in the top 5 picks and potentially give up half of the draft for that pick and say well we still have 14 picks from 2023 and some of them got enough experience and got better. so we won't need no stinking draft picks in 2024 and 2025 or 2026. You know how we roll.
