Perhaps not. But I was just thinking that: A) with the money the Commanders have invested in their DT's; and, B ) both Young and Montez Sweat heading into FA at the end of the year...the team would likely want to choose which DE they'd want to keep.
And though I think he's older, I think that the Commanders would try to keep Sweat (because of Young's injury history). Better to get some comp for Young now while he's healthy.
