Well, except they do. A top RB changes the entire way the opponents set up their defense. And to judge the entirety of a position's importance on total rushing yards and YPC is zany. Does this consider receiving yardage? Blocking? Sure, there's a point that you may not need a million dollar per game feature RB to be successful in today's NFL having one who can take over when you're trying to grind out the clock with a fourth quarter lead is a terrific weapon. And CJ Anderson played magnificently in that playoff run. Glad Hendu and Royce played well but we didn't win the game. Maybe having a HB who can kick a FG would be a good thing.
