Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in Los Angeles on Friday morning.

According to TMZ Sports, two men approached Robinson outside a hotel in LA just after midnight and told the 29-year-old to hand over his valuables while pointing firearms at him.

The thieves are said to have taken off with over $100,000 in jewelry, which included an expensive watch.

Robinson, who is set to line up for the Rams against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, is understood to be 'doing OK' despite the incident after obliging and handing over his possessions.

After responding to calls of a robbery outside the hotel, police say they have launched an investigation into the matter. No arrests have been made so far.

Robinson joined the Rams this offseason after brief spells with the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens, but is yet to record a catch through five games.

The Florida college star previously spent five years with the Kansas City Chiefs, helping Patrick Mahomes inspire their Super Bowl LIV triumph back in 2020.

In his NFL career, he has recorded 193 receptions for 2,137 yards and 16 touchdowns.

It has been a difficult week for the Rams, with Robinson's teammate Derion Kendrick arrested in LA after police found a gun and marijuana in his car when pulling him over for a traffic violation just hours after their win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Jail records reportedly show Kendrick was booked at 2:14am on a felony charge of carrying a concealed weapon. TMZ claim that Kendrick remained in custody well into the afternoon.

The Rams have listed their starting cornerback as questionable to play Sunday despite his two days in police custody, but Kendrick said he expects to play.
