He was a workhorse, the grunt man, at Notre Dame. He's used to the pace and the workload, if not the NFL-level hits.
I didn't waatch the game - couldn't - but read that he went out with an ankle and came back in and played well on it. Did he look fatigued at the end of the game, or did he finish strong?
If nothing else, he's showing that he's more like a tough briar bush than a hothouse plant. He may weigh less than 200 but plays at 215. He's a better
football player that any we've had at RB since Michel.
