They seem to always be short two players on the roster. I think that was just to eventually bring Kupp back and because they had nobody they wanted to sign. The second spot was eventually taken by Trammell.
Now with Jefferson traded and Brown hurt I expect them to continue to elevate practice squad players and eventually sign a couple. Freeman and Copeland come to mind. In fact I expect them to sign Freeman this week. I don't think they are ready for Zach Evans to be number three. After watching Jaleel McGlaughlin. Devon Achane and Emari Demercado that's a little disappointing.
I can't believe there isn't a developmental QB and Edge out there. Just seems uninspiring.
