They're set up to do well in 2024. A lot of moving pieces as always.
They have a lot going for them- a good, young core. Several stars. Plenty of draft assets and cap space for 2024 and 2025. They upgraded the coaching staff this offseason. So it's all in front of them.
But also they do have to add some more elite talent on defense. Donald will be 33 before the start of camp next summer. At some point he will begin to tail off. Maybe not totally but just not be
that guy any more. Like Jack Youngblood his last two years- still a good piece but no longer that guy.
We can all see how a lack of pass rush talent around Donald hampers their defense. And high-end CB are always valuable. Witherspoon was about as a good a late free agency signing as you can have. But they can't count on that every summer.
I have real doubts Stafford is playing in 2025. They should plan accordingly.
