Stage might be too big for a lot of young Rams

It's that old line from McVay - can you be your best when your best is required? It's frustrating to watch this team because I think they do care and there is some talent (though not enough) and there doesn't seem to be a quit in them. But...it's one execution error after another at the worst times. Missed tackles, missed blocking assignments, bad penalties. I feel like this is maybe a bigger problem than coaching. Rail on McVay all you want, but in all three losses there were plays to be made and outcomes that could have been changed. It would be great to run more, but how many 2 yard and 0 yard runs do you need to see that the blocking is not being executed and the backs aren't winning either. You put your players in position to do their job and they need to do it.

The team seem to be cracking under the pressure a bit on both sides of the ball. Kind of what you'd expect from a team this young and inexperienced. Hopefully they will grow from this as the season goes on or they won't - and they will be replaced once we have more cap ex for improvements.
