If you are diving to get lower pads are you not going below the knee for contact? This whole deal of doing a slow whistle during other plays are asking for injuries as well....The rule book is just going the wrong way, too many rules spoil the soup....interpreting a play over just going by a rule is game changing at times as well....A rule should be a rule, not a living thing that can change by feeling a certain way.
