I agree. Very proud of this team. It was very clear to all we sacrificed to get a Super Bowl trophy a few years ago. We ran into cap hell and this season was a rebuilding one . (Still worth the trophy to me). Whoever had expectations that we would be competitive this year was oblivious to facts and must be under anesthesia .. (shrug). Too bad for them for expecting more. So far we have been extremely competitive and lost to TWO unbeaten teams. I am proud of them and very optimistic about the future. This team is very young, well coached, and exceeding expectations. They have been close in each game and with a few bounces the other way could have won all games. Next year will be another UP and good year as our cap allows us to get more talent.
I was at the game today and personally feel the eagles are a better team but also the refs made some bad calls. The eagle receiver clearly pushed off FIRST in the end zone and we got called for interference and lost that TD. They also missed some face masks and roughing stafford calls.
We are not the only ones that can't stop the rugby push.
