I still cant believe that's a legal play

I mean, show me another play that's more about assisting the runner. assisting the runner is supposed to be illegal, or at least was and should still be. I can't believe more defenders aren't hurt during these types of plays, as they get bent backwards by the onslaught of players helping to push the pile, or in this case the QB.
