Rams are always Captain Obvious when and how they run. The Gators, under Spurrier, used to have a play that worked VERY well..... FIVE wide outs. TEs just to the sides of the Guards...It was a REALLY spread formation. Then do a misdirection pitch to Eric Rhett. It was AWESOME when 3-5 yards were needed. If one tackle could be broken, it could go for 15+.
As much of an "Offensive Mind" that McVay is supposed to be, I'm VERY VERY surprised he does not have fun with crazy wrinkles in the run game. Spurrier was a VERY VERY pass happy Coach. He used that as an ADVANTAGE to run the ball.
