Going to cost some form of significant compensation. Yes the Rams went after CMC, but they apparently still thought they were in the running at that time to offer up that many picks. (I love CMC by the way and think he's worth that, but look at how many holes this Rams team needed to fill with draft picks!) Which would have equate to G Avila and Edge B Young plus a 4th and 5th in next year's draft..... oh and Akers!
Post Gurley, I'm not sure they will invest big money again in the position. Look at Chubb, barkley just now, but RB health overall seems to often be a concern..
And as NewMexico just said, is he a'We not Me Team player' that is very much the approach McVay is reinvigorating it feels!
