The Rams need to be judicious with Stafford.

Just to throw numbers around, let's cut that by 20% and he's at 44, which at 66% completion rate and 11.5 yards per completion puts him at 333 yards per game. Not suggesting a pitch count or anything of the sort - just a reasonable workload for a 17-game season.
In our enthusiasm and recognition of Stafford's uncanny ability, I think we can get carried away at times. He's capable of throwing 550 or 60 times per game when he needs to, but I'd like for those occasions to be the exception and not the norm. I'd like to see him handing off to run down the clock most plays from mid-third quarter on.
