It won't stop until we start to beat them regularly. We have to make them not want to come. If they are pretty confident they will win every time they play us, why wouldn't they come?
Want the whiner fans to stop coming? Start beating them. That way, even the ones that DO come will go home very upset! lol
We HAVE to give them a reason to not want to show up. IMO, it's that simple. It won;t stop them all from coming but I guarantee you that if we won the last 17 games decisively, the number of whiner fans in our stadium would not be as high.
As I stated in another post, this version of the Niners came to life in 2019 when they smacked around our OLine.
So, the confidence the Niners built upon that victory over the reining NFC champion Rams has carried them this far.
I’ve seen McVay make moves over the years to shake this hypnotic status of being the underdog. And I think he’s almost got the monkey off his back. He’s completely retooled his approach to OLine play. Me personally, I would think beefing up the DLine is the last step. But he’s gotguys on the DLine of his own choosing. So, we’ll see.
The Niners used to run all over us. Honestly, Morris has stunted the Niner run game a lot. I hope he keeps that trend going.
If the Rams puncture the Niner balloon this week and they end up missing their title expectations, the curse will be lifted and the Sea of Red will drain away.
