Sean Payton is not someone I admire. In my book he's a filthy scumball of a human being. He drove that low opinion further down by telling Russell Wilson, whose deportment off the field and charitable outreaches to children are a part of his DNA, to "Quit f----ing kissing babies!"
A decent human being doesn't say - or even think - that of Russell Wilson, much less proclaim it publicly to try to send a message about what a big man and fearless leader he is.
If Payton's career falls apart in Denver and he leaves the game in disgrace, haunted by his dirt in New Orleans and whatever else befalls him, NFL football will be better without him. That said, I hope he gets it figured out before the Final Gun sounds.
