Played at Notre Dame…caught 60 passes his senior season in 1964…1,114/9Tds…John Huarte was his QB (Heisman)…6-2/190 was a first round pick, 8th overall…Minnesota Vikings…traded a month later to the Rams for Red Phillips and Gary Larsen…Larsen played 10 years for the Vikings and went to a couple of Pro Bowls as a member of the Purple People Eaters… Red Phillips had been a 1/5/1958 receiver from Auburn…three Pro Bowls for the Rams 1960-1962…caught 78 passes for the Rams in 1961…333 passes/401 in his career only 68 of those with the Vikings…
Sadly...Snow passed away in 2006 at 62…Perhaps the ancient Cooper Kupp...great player...a big playoff win in the 60s, maybe two, and people would still be talking about him.
