Passing strength is left - 3 receiver side
Closed side is right - TE is right
WS - Because passing strength is right the left safety is weak
SS - Because passing strength is right the right safety is weak
if the passing strength were on the left it would be the opposite
same with the corners,SC is strong .. but Rams vary what they do
with CBs they don't always stay with strength, over last three
years have seen them do different things but did not write them
down and would have to look...same with safeties
In nickel when John Johnson III or Rapp would play the dime LB (money)
Scott would come in and I never bothered to figure out what was
going on there... I guess I could ... but I think Scott played right
in 2021 with Johnson left and Rapp to money in 2021 it was
Scott to the right and Rapp to money ...
And when Johnson III was the dime back (not the dime LBer/Money)
Scott was left
the D or Dime linebacker--that as been the cover Lbers--Young, Howard, etc
last year Jones and Hollins some...but can also be a safety the so-called money Rapp, this year
Lake or even Yeast we are not sure ...
We don't even know for sure who the starting safeties are.
The MIKE is Jones, last year Wagner, Reeder before that, Kiser started there in 2020
3 has always been Donald ... 2i Brockers some, Morgan Fox,,, later years a mess of people
E were the edge guys...Floyd, Miller, Ebukam Lewis, Hoecht...
Star as ben Hill, Ramsey, Durant, this year Durant, but when they want bigger Star ... Yeast maybe
we shall see
Rams use this about 30% of the time
the techniques of the front are
9-2i-3-9
but can be
9-3-3-9
9-1-3-6
even a
9-3-1 all one one side and the a 9 on the other with a stand up money/dime LBer on LOS
all in nickel
9-3-1-4
