did a great job without AD last year
The Rams didn't go 5-12 because of their defense that's for sure.
We disagree on this one buddy
We all know it was the injury bug was the culprit. I do think Morris did "ok", not sure I would say "great" considering what he had to work with but that doesn't change the fact he still played the softest defense in the league with and without AD.
On a 5-12 team, I just would've rather see him come out of his Prevent Shell a bit more, but that's just me. I am not a fan of playing scared and soft on defense or offense.
I prefer an attacking style on both sides of the ball.
I think McVay wants the same now by coming out with that "Grow Some B@lls" mantra and I like it.
Our defense did look more aggressive during the preseason but I know that wasn't Morris calling the plays. I am hoping Morris will take some chances in this "throw away" year and continue with that aggression.
This isn't the time to play scared anymore. Let's test these kids early and often. Throw their asses to the fire and let the cream rise to the top!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
