That does not seem to be the issue. Evans put it down properly and even reversed the laces to face outward. Both FG's missed were on Brown not the holder IMHO.
I may well be grasping at straws here, den.
But a displacement of a mere quarter of an inch by the holder can make a difference on a 40 yard FG attempt, as you know. It’s hard to see a quarter inch misplacement on a TV screen.
All I know is that Brown was deadly accurate throughout college, especially inside the 40, but now he has the yips. Maddening.
