It might take a few games to get untracked as (as you alluded to) our OL doesn't appear to be settled and it might take a couple of weeks to onboard Dotson.
But I'm encouraged because:
A) It appears as though the team has made a concerted effort to get bigger/stronger/more physical with this unit than seasons past;
B ) Our RB committee appears to have made it through camp and pre-season healthy and with a better mindset than last year; and,
C) I anticipate seeing fewer empty sets on 3rd & short and more use of jet-sweeps (even if 75% of which is pure eye-candy) to Atwell. I'm expecting him to make a house call on at least one this season.
I might add that McVay has hired an OC who is a fan of a strong running game.
Yeah, there is definitely a pro-run pattern at work here.
