Hi All!
First time poster, but LongTime Rams fan going back to the late great George Allen squads.
I see the author doesn't rate too many of the ex-Rams he listed overly highly, but I will comment on his lackluster assessment of Bobby Wagner.
IIRC, Bobby Wagner was voted Ram MVP by his fellow 2022 Los Angeles Ram team mates. IMHO, being voted Team MVP is a big friggin' deal in football in general....and, moreover in the NFL. Wagner had a career high in QB sacks with 6 IIRC for us in 2022, and two picks.
Not too shabby.
I am heading down the 2 hour drive to Lumen Field on September 10, with my lawyer buddy (and HUGE Seahawks fan.....hell, everybody up here in Vancouver BC are Seahawk fans!
) to watch our Ram on-the-road 2023 season opener, and I promise a postgame EyeWitness report on how our Offense clicks (hopefully) and how our (very) youthful D and STs perform.
I will also try my best to give a good accounting of how Bobby Wagner plays as well, although my primary focus will be on our Ram players. I was excited last season when we signed Wagner who I always thought was a solid performer, and smart player. I always lamented missing out on Wagner in the 2012 NFL Draft, when we traded down once too often, and the Rams ended up with Rokevious Watkins....
and Les Snead ended up with his "Bobby Wagner Rule."
