What we should be talking about...

Look, I get it, there are all types of fans on this site. Some who may even love the garbage clickbait articles that constantly get posted. But lets put some effort into what is really at hand.

At most positions, we are in decent shape. We may not have the best depth, but that is life with a young team. Our QB, RB, TE, WR, ILB, CB, S, and OL rooms are pretty much set other than the bottom of the roster. Yes, OL. Noteboom is not going anywhere. When healthy he is either your RG and/or your swing tackle, and he does not need to play right away if still hurt as Anchrum has looked fine. Whether Bruss makes this squad doesn't really matter. If he or his bottom of the roster replacement is playing, we are in trouble anyway. Noteboom will be the backup RT and after him likely Arcuri or McClendon, not Bruss.

What we should be talking about (and I know for a fact Rams pro scouts have been tasked specifically with this in the next 10 days) is how to potentially retool the DL/OLB room at cutdown time. This group has looked the weakest by far. At DL, other than Donald and Turner, and likely Bobby Brown based on potential, we could swap out any of the others for better players. And the other guys we have would likely pass through waivers anyway if we wanted to keep on the PS. At OLB, other than Hoecht and Young, and possibly Keir (although last year we got him to the PS), the others don't have much juice. We could easily get Hardy to the PS. Ochaun will likely get PUPed.

So the question is, what DL and OLB's have we seen from other teams during the preseason, or know of from the past draft or two, or that were stashed on other practice squads, etc., that we can claim if waived that will upgrade these groups?
