The Rams have not had a first round pick since the 2016 draft. Since that draft they have had only one pick in the top 50, and only 12 in the top 100. But they have not fallen apart. So they are getting contributions without premium draft slots. My guess is that most teams would be below .500 if you took away their last 6 first round picks, and gave them only one dozen top 100 picks with just one in the top 50 in the last six drafts.
If we look at the drafts from 2012 when he arrived through 2016 he did well with selections in the top of the draft.
I have faith in the future.
