Re: ESPN has turned to "The View" of Sports. What a train wreck!

What I want when I watch sports talk shows is accurate information, not entertainment. Pure and simple. I don't mind that being done with some occasional humor, but the schmaltzy, talk-show, game-show gimmicks are a turn-off for me. There's more yuk-yukking than straight sports talk and that just doesn't do it for me. Other than NFL games, the NFL draft, college football games and the occasional Cardinals baseball game I don't watch ESPN. AT&T dropped the NFL Network on Uverse 4 years ago and DirecTV just got it back last week so although I'm happy about that, But I was disappointed to see there's still a lot of the dribble on air that I disliked before (Good Morning Football, for example). But with football season upon us, there will be more substantial stuff for them to talk about so I'm going to give them a pass for now and then see how I feel about them after training camps get underway.
