Injuries on grass vs astro-turf

This article states that the injury rate is about the same, however, every player quoted said grass is so much better.
Historically grass has always been superior to fake turf for fewer injuries but the gap has narrowed.
I assumed that Stan would have done the football-smart thing and installed grass but he went with fake. I'm sure money and maintenance has a lot to do with it.
