It was my wife’s birthday. That alone put everything else on the back burner (or else).
Our daughter took an extra day off to stay overnight and help celebrate. That was fun but time consuming.
Then, in mid-afternoon a brushfire was burning and came within half a mile of our home. Evacuations were ordered for some neighbors. There were 2 helicopters and 2 borate bombers working furiously to knock it down as we watched anxiously. Fire crews were working after dark to take care of hot spots.
That was a helluva busy day for me. Needless to say, there was precious little time for the Herdboard for me yesterday.
I’ll try to do better today. Lol.
