is the blatant holding that is ALLOWED to take place during said double/triple teaming.
I mean...I half-way got it when NBA referees allowed defenders to club Shaquille O'Neal back in the day. There was absolutely no way for the average-sized NBA big man back then (or even today) to survive against to most athletic 330-lb 7-footer pretty much anyone has ever seen (who just so happened to play a physical style of ball).
But I could argue that AD is significantly undersized for his position and that his opponents on the O-line are significantly bigger than he is.
So why is the holding tolerated by the officials?
