Played poorly in pre-season last year; knocked on his butt and the narrative on him descended from plug-in starter to may see some action before he got hurt.
For me, after the swimming pool euphoria from staff at preseason 2022 to not sayin' much that is good now, that's a big disappointment.
He has a serious long-term injury that can be especially bad for inerior linemen. We don't have much encouraging wordplay from staff about his recovery/prognosis. I think it's way deep on the depth chart for him this year.
I don't have much confidence at all that he'll outplay/outlast other young players who want the starting spot at RG worse than he does and prove it during training camp.
