But there were those in the LA area who had a difficult time with the Rams winning their only SB in St. Louis.
The point is after all those years in LA with classic uniforms, the only LOS ANGELES based SB win was in cracked horns.
Got ya!
I don't tie the uni (new OR old) to any city. But that's just me. Maybe not ever living in LA allows me to not have a "difficult" time with either SB win from my Rams regardless of the uni. I feel bad for these people you speak of for not being able to enjoy/accept or have "difficulty" with that GSOT run!
I remember "All those years in LA with the classics". There were some VERY good teams that wore those uni's and were a missed Billy Waddy or INT from winning that first SB in those uni's.
As for "winning the SB with "cracked horns", those "cracked horns" didn't take away any of my enjoyment from the ride at all.
Now, do I think they would have looked better winning the only LOS ANGELES based SB if they were wearing the Ferragamo's???

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
