I have traded multiple emails with DAZN and NFL.com and here's my take on it
Lots of pieces of this puzzle are still to be figured out by both DAZN/NFL.com........lol
DAZN will own the streaming rights to basically the old "NFL Game Pass International"
One way or another you will have to stream the GPI thru DAZN
Either as a DAZN monthly subscription or as a stand-alone purchase of the GPI offered by DAZN
and
DAZN will not stream live NFL games in the US .... no change here
The monthly subscription is set, they already had this in place
The stand alone purchase details are being worked out and will be announced at a later date
This will be huge, because DAZN is only available to stream in 8 countries.....
right nowand 5 (not counting the US) of those countries will have huge hurdles to overcome
and then to the VPN that will be needed
DAZN has
top tier VPN detection, they block accounts that they detect the use of a VPN
I've tried many lower level VPN's ...no go
And payment method will be an issue as well............
So that enters into the pricing and effort needed to use the new DAZN "GPI"
Right now, with the information available I think getting live regular season games through DAZN & a VPN
would cost me approx $125-135 a year
