When Stafford is on fire

Disagree, F79.

To be precise, I said ‘when Stafford is protected and healthy’.

At those times there is no one better. He won the SB in his first year with new team and HC, including a playoff run for the ages. I don’t think there’s more than 4 other QB’s that could have matched that.

Unfortunately, Rams did a pathetic job of protecting him and keeping him healthy in ‘22.

he is as good as any QB in the league. When he is not on "fire" he cal also be in the lower tier too. The rest of the time he is definitely a top 7 QB in the NFL.

I have always said Stafford is a "streaky" player so I think his consistency is the thing people question.

I think part of the reason he can be streaky is from playing in Detroit so long and having to carry the team and getting into bad habits because of it. On the flip side of that, playing in Detroit also might have helped him too by making him be aggressive.

As you said, the Rams couldn't protect him last year but it wasn't like they didn't try so I won't say "pathetic". The injuries made it impossible to protect any of our QB's. I don't see that happening this year.

A healthy and protected Stafford + Production = wins! beer cheer smiley

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
