Jalen got the benefit of the doubt among this bunch last year quite a bit, as QBs had options to avoid him to large extent. But that is going to change in Miami. He's gonna get thrown at more this year.
How does he handle that. We'll see. One thing's for sure: in this league reputation only gets you so far with the refs. He's always been one of the best at tactical grabs and holds, which is a very valuable skill set for a corner, but his makeup speed is not what it used to be. If refs start calling him and QBs get after him he's probably got some bad days ahead this season vs teams who have threats that can run by him.
On the plus side for Miami is that Jalen's a competitor so maybe he's been working hard to recover in the areas he's slipped. Also if the rush is good enough QBs won't have time to single him out. But there is definitely room for the quality of that Miami corner room to work against him if he's not ready to go.
