Snead did well in bringing in new talent, now it’s up to the coaches…

Personally, I’m fairly optimistic.

I don’t see a deep playoff run, of course, but I do expect a competitive team in all phases. Very young but very scrappy.

8-9 wins might be a realistic goal for ‘23, imo.

Now, back to the coaches. Am I the only one that senses positive vibes about a lot of these guys? A ‘new sheriff in town’ kinda atmosphere?

Mike LaFleur OC (will be a huge help for McVay, if allowed, and keep Rams focused on run game at all times)
Ron Gould RB coach.
Ryan Wendell OL coach (I’m sensing a welcome new attitude for our OL with this guy)
Nick Caley TE coach
Jimmy Lake Asst HC
Aubrey Pleasant D backs/Passing game Coordinator
Joe Coniglio Outside LB coach

Coaches Hennie and Yarber aren’t new by any means, but I’m sure will continue to do a stellar job this year.

As an aside, I’m curious to see how Morris strategizes his overall D this year. Specifically, how he copes with loss of Ramsey and Floyd. Some new rookies have been drafted/signed and the feedback on them indicates that a more aggressive match zone D might be on the drawing board. Fingers crossed.

Should be an entertaining season with a lot of growth from these young players.
