I like the direction. Wish we had one additional and taller corner who was clearly a guy for outside. But two ballhawk corners will hurt some teams, we'll have games where they light up careless QBs I imagine.
Next year and going forward go get one good sized corner, unless Rochell shows out finally. But either way we knew they'd be short somewhere this year and them going after the defensive front and adding corner later was the right approach. I really like the overall approach only complaints I could make is the RB choice and no NT both of which may or may not hurt us we'll see.
Hell, Merlin, I wish Tomlinson was 6’ 1” and 205 pounds, but he isn’t. If he were then he goes in mid-1st round. Lol.
What he is is likely best overall current CB on this roster. As such, I’ve gotta start him, even against the big WR’s.
They say he allowed only a 34% completion rate in college. I’m sure at least some of those WR’s were big. Just sayin’…
