Hi everyone!

Broncos fan here coming in peace.

I just wanted to write a bit about an undrafted free agent y'all just signed, DeAndre Square.

I taught DeAndre for two years during his high school years in Detroit (chemistry and physics).

I wanted to take some time here to say how awesome he is. Such a fundamentally kind human being, and a delight to have in the classroom. He would always work to get his classwork done early, then he'd either take his time to help teach his other classmates, or turn on game tape and study that for the remaining time he had in class.

He always treated me and everyone else with the respect they deserve. His warm heart comes through clearly. His leadership was always on display, and not just with his teammates, but as well as his classmates. He got everyone around him to work hard with him. It was so fun to watch.

Anyway, I just wanted to make sure y'all had a chance to get to know him from my perspective. I'm cheering for him making the team in any capacity, and I hope you do too. He's been working for this as hard as he can since before high school. He's one of the good people on this planet, and it has been an absolute pleasure to be able to share part of my life with him and his family.

I'm happy for you, Rams!
