Look this was a wasted pick when better QB talent and potential was on the board. I know I obsess over DTR but the fact that we went for a knuckler rather than a true developement target tells me we are not all that serious @ QB and McVay has not shown me that he is up to the challenge or task of developing long term raw talent. He defaults to name recognition in this one and is hiding behind the 2 championships. This is a QB that has shown some immaturity post championship #2.
I have to do more study on him but having only had him on my radar with championships I just find it hard to believe he is going to be Drew Breeze, Russell Wilson or Doug Flutie caliber QB and that is my problem with the pick. No long term upside but I hope I am wrong, I just don't think I am.
