Heh...I just had a very long and contentious discussion with my son this morning over Araiza and let us just say that we agree to disagree. A few facts about it though:
1. He was never charged. The DA did not find enough evidence to indict.
2. He wasn't punting in Mexico (where his father is from). He was made an offer but refused it.
3. He is being sued in civil court by the defendant.
I think that until the latter is resolved that he's a hot potato to the NFL from a PR perspective. Once resolved, I do believe he should be signed and allowed to have a career as a punter. But I must also admit that his actions were stupid, immature and harmful to another.
