If you read my post I wrote that it is not a position of need. It's the best player available strategy which I would take over a need strategy any day. Also, remember the Rams didn't need a running back when they drafted Todd Gurley (they had Tre Mason before he dealt with issues).
The correct policy is to draft the best player available at a position of need. We can’t ignore those last 3 words.
RB is 9-10 on my needs priority list for Rams.
And Charbonnet is not within a light year of Todd Gurley in terms of talent or impact.
