I've even googled the XFL and USFL epanding from time to time , to see if Iowa was even mentioned

and , nope

both Iowa and Iowa State stadiums are more then large enough , but I'm sure the NFL would never want to share a stadium with a college , team

but both Ames and Iowa City are fairly small cities once you take out the universites

even with Des Moinse being twice as big as Green Bay , Des Moinse has no suitable stadium ,

I'm sure the state of Iowa would more then support a professional football , it would take someone with a few billion dollars , to buy a team and a few more billion dollars more willing in invest in a new stadium , in Iowa , which ain't gonna happen
